Add-ons are optional extras customers can choose when placing a laundry order. They give customers more flexibility, while making expectations clear for Laundry Pros before accepting an order.
Let’s talk about the dryer sheets add-on.
Dryer sheets are an optional add-on a customer can select for an additional fee. If dryer sheets are included, they’ll show up on the order contract before you accept. Only accept the order if you’re comfortable providing and using them.
Customers choose dryer sheets to reduce static, soften fabrics, or add fragrance. They can select either scented dryer sheets or a Free & Clear option with no added dyes or fragrances.
Always use the option the customer selected.
In most cases, one dryer sheet per load is enough. Adding more usually doesn’t improve results and can sometimes leave residue on clothes.
When you take a photo of your detergent for the order, we recommend you also take a photo of any add-on supplies you’ll be using, including dryer sheets.
